BENTON HARBOR, MI. - With the introduction of two cutting-edge products, Gladiator® GarageWorks by Whirlpool Corporation is helping homeowners tackle organizational challenges outside the garage. The Freezerator® convertible refrigerator/ freezer and the Modular Garage Refrigerator offer a practical and stylish way to meet age-old food and beverage storage issues.
The products combine a refrigeration technology that is engineered to sense both hot and cold temperature extremes and has a built-in heater that keeps the contents chilled but not frozen even in cold garages.
The Modular Garage Refrigerator-aka the "Beer Box" is a smaller refrigerator that's perfect for the garage environment. Providing six cubic feet of storage space, the Beer Box can hold up to 170 cans of anyone's favorite cold beverage. The Modular Garage Refrigerator stands alone or conveniently docks under the Modular Workbench, solving additional garage storage issues. The Freezerator™ convertible refrigerator/freezer's unique feature is a 15 cubic foot bottom freezer with plenty of room to store bulky items such as frozen pizzas, Thanksgiving turkeys and garlic bread. The top of the unit offers a convertible option that allows the homeowner to use it as either a traditional refrigerator or a freezer depending on their storage issues. In all, the entire unit has a total of 21 cubic feet of storage capacity.
